SOC Engineer L1
Responsibilities:
- Providing basic troubleshooting and guidance to customers
- Answering frequently asked questions (FAQs) about products, services, features etc
- Understanding customer problems and interacting with them
- Monitoring and managing IT infrastructure components
- Preparing documentation for detail incident , incident investigations and escalate to L2 if necessary.
- Carry out daily physical health check monitoring for each device
- Working in rotational shifts, 24 x 7 shifts
Requirements :
- Min bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT or computing (Informatics / Computer Science)
- Has experience min 2 years in managing, applicating any changes and providing basic trouble shooting
- Hands on with devices such as Firewall / F5 / Proxy / Cisco Antispam / IPS / SWG
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Problem solving and documentation skills are also important
- Experience with ticket management systems
- The ability to work in rotational shifts , 24 x 7
